Hopkinton Trails Club 2nd Summer Trail Walk

Join the Hopkinton Public Library and the Hopkinton Trails Club for the second event in the Summer 2023 trail walks
series!

In this series, we will take walkers to different trails for a 1-hour leisurely trail walk. Experts from the Hopkinton Trails Club will lead walkers through Hopkinton trails and discuss the history, flora, and fauna of the area.

These walks are not strenuous, and no one will be left behind. Families are welcome. Although the trails are in great condition, be aware that most trails cannot easily accommodate most strollers, but small children in a hiking backpack would be just fine! (Do you want to come, but don’t have a hiking backpack for your little one? Borrow one from our Library of Things! Call or drop in at the library to check it out.) Wear sturdy footwear, have bug spray if desired, and bring some water. Leashed, well behaved dogs are welcome to join us as well, so don’t forget some water for your four-legged hiker as well.

See the link below for parking location:

We will meet at the parking area behind the old Center School. If you are attending the Snakes of New England Program we will be walking over to the trail following that program, so feel free to leave your car in the library lot. The parking area is paved and has many parking spots available. The surface of this trail is mostly single track with some rocks and roots in places. Wooden bridges span any water on the trail.

Please join us for final series walk this summer:

Thursday, August 24 at 7 p.m. – Pratt Farm
