Ashland Police Will be Carefully Checking Ashland State Park For Parking Violators
Starting this past Saturday, July 29th, police will target people who park in the “no parking” areas and at the Ashland Middle School, Police Chief Cara Rossi said Wednesday.
Using West Union Street by parking in spots along it seems to be part of a strategy to enter the Ashland state park without paying its admission fee — $8 for Massachusetts residents and $30 for nonresidents.
Be aware that Ashland Police have been instructed by their Chief to crack down on those parking illegally to avoid paying their fair share of Ashland State Park. It’s not personal, they have a job to do so consider that before illegally parking at Ashland Middle School and elsewhere.
