Special Ashland Election Today
The Select Board voted June 7, 2023 to hold a Special Town Election July 26, 2023 to vote on the following question:
“Shall the Town’s acceptance of Chapter 31 of the General Laws (Civil Service law) in 1957 be revoked for all officers below the rank of Chief within the Police Department?”
Polls will open at 10:00 AM and close at 7:00 PM. All precincts vote at the Ashland High School, 65 East Union Street.
You may also vote by mail by filling out a Vote-By-Mail application. Please click here for the application. The deadline to apply for a Vote-By-Mail ballot is 5:00 PM July 19, 2023.
In person early voting will take place Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM and on Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM in the Town Clerks Office, first floor of Town Hall.
VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE for Special Town Election
The deadline to register to vote is Friday, July 14, 2023. The Town Clerk’s office will be open until 5:00. You may also register to vote online by clicking here.
